   Proposal Description:
   The aim of this project is to explore associations between post-mortem  pathological findings of beta-amyloid plaques (density and geographical           deposition) and neurofibrillary tau tangles and sleep disturbance.               Exploratory analysis of a UK cohort has been undertaken to test the a priori     hypothesis that sleep disturbance would be correlated with the degree of         pathological change associated with Alzheimer's Dementia.                         We are requesting access to NACC data to test whether an unexpected finding is   also present in a separate cohort.  Specifically whether intermediate stages of  amyloid deposition are associated with a higher degree of sleep disturbance       than more advanced stages.
